I see the letters “CB”, “B”, “L”, and “D” on the itinerary. What do they stand for?
The letters represent meals that are included on each day of the itinerary. “CB” = Continental breakfast, “B” = Full breakfast, “L” = Lunch, and “D” = Dinner.
Will I be stuck sitting in the back of the coach for the whole tour?
No. We assign seats on the motorcoach. Your Tour Director will rotate seat assignments every day. This way, we can accommodate friends who would like to sit together and also give everyone a chance to sit throughout the coach.
How is tipping handled?
Your Tour Director will pay gratuities for luggage handling and any other local guides that may join the tour. Village Drivers and Tour Directors appreciate any gratuity that is extended to them at the end of the tour. Generally, an amount of $3 per day per traveler for the Driver and an additional $3 per day per traveler for the Tour Director is common.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking (both tobacco and electronic) is prohibited on the motorcoach, but you may take advantage of the breaks in the tour to smoke.
Are conceal-and-carry firearms allowed?
NO. Firearms are prohibited on the tour.
How many bags can I bring on the tour?
We allow each passenger to check one large suitcase on the tour. This bag will be tagged, handled, and accounted for by Village for the duration of the tour. Smaller carry-on bags may be brought along and stored either under the coach or above the seats, but those bags will be your responsibility to handle.
What if I have to cancel my reservation?
We realize that illness and personal issues do occasionally arise and make it impossible to continue your travel plans. Unless otherwise noted, we will gladly refund your deposit if the cancellation is made prior to the final payment deadline. If the cancellation occurs after the final payment has been made, a 10% cancellation penalty is assessed in addition to any non-refundable expenses that were incurred for hotels, transportation, attractions, or other suppliers who were already pre-paid for their services.

If I have to cancel my tour, when can I expect my refund?
Refunds will be issued no later than 30 days after the tour returns. This will allow us time to collect as much from our vendors as possible.
I have trouble walking very far. How can I tell if a tour involves a lot of physical activity?
To the best of our ability, we rank our tours by the level of activity. Rankings appear in the pricing box of most tours. Level 1 is considered to be the least strenuous, while a Level 3 involves quite a bit of physical activity.
Are electric scooters, walkers, and wheelchairs allowed on tour?
Due to the amount of activity that we engage in on most of our tours, we encourage folks to study the tour itinerary carefully, paying special attention to the activity level ranking. We adhere to the ADA laws and will accommodate anyone to the best of our ability. Due to their size, electric scooters are only allowed on a case-by-case basis. Please call the Village Travel office for more details 1-800-333-0312.
Where do I leave my car while on tour?
Tours generally depart from Wichita, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa. Each Village Travel office has a secure lot where you can park your car for the duration of the trip. If you are picked up en route, we will recommend a place for you to park your car.
